National Revolutionary Party (PNR)
The National Revolutionary Party (PNR) was a political organization in Mexico founded in 1929, later renamed the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI). It was created to unify various political and military factions following the Mexican Revolution, promoting stability and centralized control. The PNR aimed to maintain order, foster economic growth, and integrate different social groups into the political process through a system of co-optation and clientelism. It held power for much of the 20th century, shaping Mexico's political landscape until it transitioned to multi-party democracy.
