National Resistance Front of Afghanistan

The National Resistance Front of Afghanistan (NRF) is an opposition group formed mainly by Afghan former soldiers, leaders, and fighters who oppose the Taliban’s control of Afghanistan. They aim to protect Afghanistan’s previous democratic institutions, promote human rights, and resist Taliban governance, which they see as restrictive and oppressive. The NRF operates mainly from outside the country and has engaged in armed resistance and diplomatic efforts to challenge Taliban authority. Their goal is to offer an alternative to Taliban rule and advocate for a different vision of Afghan governance.
