National Palace (Haiti)

The National Palace in Haiti was the official residence and government headquarters of the Haitian president, located in Port-au-Prince. Built in the mid-20th century, it served as a symbol of national sovereignty and political authority. The palace featured impressive architecture and was a key site for government functions and ceremonies. Sadly, it was severely damaged during the 2010 earthquake, leading to its abandonment and the removal of the president's office to a different location. Today, the site remains a symbol of Haiti’s history and resilience, although the original building is not currently in use.
