National Olympic Committees
National Olympic Committees (NOCs) are organizations responsible for a country's participation in the Olympic Games. They coordinate athlete selection, organize training, and promote Olympic values within their nation. Each NOC represents its country in the international Olympic community, working with the International Olympic Committee (IOC). They ensure that athletes adhere to Olympic rules and standards, and they manage the national teams’ involvement in the Games, both summer and winter. Essentially, NOCs serve as the official link between a country’s sporting community and the global Olympic movement.
