National Council of Nigeria and the Cameroons
The National Council of Nigeria and the Cameroons was a political organization established in the early 20th century to advocate for the political rights and independence of the people in Nigeria and the Cameroons region under British and French control. It aimed to unify efforts against colonial rule, promote self-governance, and address regional concerns. Although it played a significant role in early nationalist movements, it eventually evolved and merged into other political groups as Nigeria and Cameroon moved toward independence in the mid-20th century.
