National Citizens Service

National Citizens Service (NCS) is a UK government initiative designed for young people aged 16-17. It aims to develop skills, boost confidence, and encourage civic engagement through community-based projects. Participants engage in challenging activities, such as outdoor adventures and social initiatives, working alongside peers from diverse backgrounds. The program fosters teamwork, leadership, and social responsibility. NCS is voluntary, often taking place during school holidays, and culminates in a project that benefits the community.
