National Center for Research Resources (NCRR)
The National Center for Research Resources (NCRR) was a part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in the United States, created to support and enhance biomedical research. Its primary focus was to provide resources and funding for research infrastructures, such as laboratories and technology, to help scientists conduct studies effectively. NCRR aimed to advance health by fostering collaboration among researchers and supporting various training programs. Although NCRR was dissolved in 2015, its legacy continues through the initiatives and resources that were integrated into other NIH programs, promoting scientific discovery and innovation in health research.
