National Capital Wing

The National Capital Wing is a regional branch of the Civil Air Patrol (CAP), a volunteer organization that supports the U.S. Air Force through emergency services, aerospace education, and youth development. Covering parts of the Washington, D.C. area, it provides trained volunteers for missions like disaster response, search and rescue, and community support. The wing offers leadership development and educational programs for members, mainly focusing on cadet and adult training. Its goal is to enhance national security, public safety, and youth engagement through its diverse activities and cooperative efforts with local agencies.
