National Association of Italian Partisans (ANPI)
The National Association of Italian Partisans (ANPI) is an organization formed by individuals who fought against fascism and Nazi occupation in Italy during World War II. Established in 1945, it aims to preserve the memory of resistance efforts, promote democratic values, and defend human rights. ANPI also advocates for social justice and combats all forms of totalitarianism. With members including former partisans, veterans, and supporters, it functions as a historical, cultural, and political collective dedicated to maintaining Italy’s democratic principles rooted in the resistance movement.
