National Achievement Survey

The National Achievement Survey (NAS) is an initiative in India that assesses the learning outcomes of students in various subjects across different grades, especially in elementary and secondary education. Conducted periodically by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), the survey evaluates how well students have grasped essential knowledge and skills based on the national curriculum. Its primary goal is to identify strengths and weaknesses in the education system, helping policymakers improve teaching methods and learning resources, ultimately enhancing the quality of education for Indian students.
