Nasal obstruction
Nasal obstruction refers to difficulty breathing through the nose due to narrowing or blockage of nasal passages. This can happen from swollen tissues, nasal polyps, a deviated septum, allergies, or infections. When the nasal passages are blocked, it can cause discomfort, breathing issues, reduced airflow, and sometimes congestion or a feeling of fullness in the nose. Addressing nasal obstruction involves identifying the cause and may include medications, simple remedies, or, in some cases, surgery to improve airflow and restore normal breathing.
