Narayan Rao

Narayan Rao was a prominent leader of the Maratha Empire in India during the mid-18th century. He served as the Peshwa (prime minister and chief executive) from 1772 until his assassination in 1773. Known for his administrative acumen and efforts to strengthen the empire, his tenure was relatively short. His death led to significant political turmoil and changed the course of Maratha history, highlighting the importance of stable leadership in maintaining regional power.
