Originally a soldier, he rose to become the king of Persia and expanded his territory into parts of modern-day Iran, Afghanistan, and India. Nader Shah was known for his strategic brilliance and fierce campaigns, but also for his brutal leadership style. Despite his military successes, his reign was marked by violence and turbulence, and his empire quickly declined after his assassination in 1747.
