Myuran Sukumaran was an Australian drug trafficker, known for being a member of the Bali Nine, a group involved in smuggling heroin into Indonesia. In 2005, he was arrested and later sentenced to death by the Indonesian authorities. Despite international protests and efforts to save him, his sentence was carried out in 2015. Sukumaran was regarded by many as a complex individual who showed remorse and personal growth during incarceration.
