Multi-National Force (Iraq)

The Multi-National Force (Iraq) was an international military coalition established in 2004 to support and stabilize Iraq after the U.S.-led invasion removed Saddam Hussein. Comprising troops from various countries, its mission included training Iraqi security forces, maintaining security, and helping rebuild the country's institutions. The force aimed to promote stability, reduce violence, and support Iraq’s sovereignty. Over time, many countries scaled back their involvement, and the coalition's role transitioned to advisory and support functions as Iraq regained more control over its security.
