Muhammad Najibullah

Muhammad Najibullah was a Afghan politician who served as the President of Afghanistan from 1987 to 1992. He was a member of the People's Democratic Party of Afghanistan and led the country during a difficult period marked by ongoing civil war and Soviet influence. His government tried to maintain stability and peace despite internal conflicts and external pressures. Najibullah’s presidency ended when he was ousted during the collapse of the communist government, and he was later murdered in 1996 amid ongoing violence.
