Movimiento Nacional
El Movimiento Nacional was a political ideology and movement in Spain during Franco's dictatorship (1939–1975), aimed at unifying the country's political, social, and cultural life under a centralized, authoritarian regime. It promoted traditional Catholic values, nationalism, and the suppression of political opposition, seeking to restore Spain’s perceived moral and social order. The movement emphasized authoritarian discipline, conservative morals, and national unity, shaping policies and propaganda of the Franco regime. It was not a political party but served as the ideological backdrop that supported the dictatorship’s stability and goals.
