MOSFET
A MOSFET (Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor Field-Effect Transistor) is a type of electronic switch or amplifier used in circuits. It controls the flow of electrical current between two terminals (called drain and source) using a third terminal (the gate). When a small voltage is applied to the gate, it creates an electric field that either allows or blocks current flow, much like opening or closing a valve. MOSFETs are essential in modern electronics for their efficiency, fast switching speed, and ability to handle high power, making them crucial components in computers, smartphones, and power supplies.
