Morningness-eveningness

Morningness-eveningness refers to an individual’s natural preference for being active and alert at certain times of the day. Morning-type people, or "larks," feel most energetic and functional in the early hours and prefer to wake up and go to bed earlier. Evening-type individuals, or "owls," peak later in the day, feeling more alert in the evening and tending to sleep and wake up later. This tendency is influenced by biological and genetic factors and affects sleep patterns, daily activities, and alertness, contributing to overall circadian rhythm differences among individuals.
