Molotov cocktail
A Molotov cocktail is a makeshift incendiary device composed of a glass bottle filled with flammable liquid, like gasoline or alcohol, with a cloth or rag inserted into the opening as a wick. When thrown and the wick is ignited, the bottle breaks upon impact, dispersing the fire and causing an intense blaze. Originally developed for military use, they are often used in protests or conflicts for their ease of assembly and destructive potential. Handling or using such devices is highly dangerous, illegal in many jurisdictions, and can cause severe injury or property damage.
