Molecular Theory

Molecular theory explains that all matter is made up of tiny particles called molecules, which are groups of atoms bonded together. The theory helps us understand how substances change — for example, solids have tightly packed molecules, liquids have more freedom to move, and gases have molecules that are far apart.
