Mole (Spanish)
In chemistry, a "mol" (or "mole" in Spanish) is a unit used to measure the amount of a substance. It represents a specific number of particles—atoms, molecules, or ions—roughly 6.022 x 10²³, known as Avogadro's number. This allows scientists to count very tiny particles by weighing a substance, making it easier to work with and understand chemical reactions. Essentially, one mole corresponds to the same number of particles in 12 grams of pure carbon-12, providing a consistent reference point for quantifying matter.
