Mohawk
A Mohawk is a hairstyle characterized by shaving or trimming the sides of the head very short while leaving a strip of longer hair running from the forehead to the back of the head. This crest-like strip creates a striking, bold appearance. Historically associated with Indigenous Mohawk people of North America, the style gained popularity in punk culture during the late 20th century as a symbol of rebellion. Modern variations include different lengths and shapes, but the core idea remains the same: contrasting shaved sides with a central, prominent ridge of hair.
