MJPEG
MJPEG (Motion JPEG) is a video format where each frame (or picture) is compressed separately as a JPEG image. Think of it like a flipbook where each page is a compressed photo; the video is created by playing these images quickly in sequence. This method makes it easier to stream or edit individual frames. Because each frame is independent, MJPEG requires more storage space than other formats, but it offers fast processing and high-quality images, making it suitable for security cameras, video conferencing, and applications needing quick frame access.
