Mintzberg's Organizational Configurations
Mintzberg's Organizational Configurations describe different ways organizations structure themselves based on their goals, size, and environment. Examples include the Simple Structure, with a centralized leader; the Machine Bureaucracy, with standardized procedures; and the Professional Organization, relying on skilled specialists. Other types are the Divisional Structure, for large companies with semi-autonomous units; the Adhocracy, flexible and innovative; and the Mission-Driven organization, focused on a clear purpose. These configurations help organizations operate effectively by aligning their structure with their specific needs and conditions.
