Memory Storage
Memory storage is the way computers keep information so they can access it later. Think of it like a digital filing system: data and programs are stored in places called memory locations, which have unique addresses. There are different types of storage, such as RAM (short-term memory) for quick, temporary data access, and hard drives or SSDs (long-term memory) for permanent storage. When you open a file or run a program, the data is loaded from storage into the computer's active memory. This system allows computers to operate efficiently, retrieving and saving information as needed.
