Medicine Man
A Medicine Man is a traditional healer or spiritual leader in various Indigenous cultures, particularly among Native American communities. They are often knowledgeable about herbal remedies, healing rituals, and the spiritual aspects of health. Medicine Men (and Women) use their understanding of nature, medicine, and cultural practices to treat illness and guide their communities in health and spiritual matters. Their roles often include conducting ceremonies, offering counsel, and preserving traditional knowledge. While not formally trained like modern doctors, they are respected figures within their communities for their wisdom and contributions to health and well-being.
