Mechanical television

Mechanical television was an early form of television that used rotating disks and mechanical components to capture and transmit images. In the early 20th century, inventors like John Logie Baird used a spinning disk with holes to scan images, which were then sent as electrical signals to recreate a picture on a screen. The images produced were low resolution and lacked color but represented a significant technological advancement. Mechanical television was eventually surpassed by electronic television, which uses cathode ray tubes and digital technology, leading to clearer, more vibrant images and widespread use today.
