Masmuda

The Masmuda were a prominent Berber tribal confederation in North Africa, primarily in present-day Morocco, during the medieval period. They played a significant role in regional politics and culture, especially from the 11th to the 17th centuries. The Masmuda were instrumental in establishing and supporting powerful dynasties like the Almoravids and Almohads, who unified parts of North Africa and Spain under Islamic rule.
