Masahiro Mori
Masahiro Mori was a Japanese roboticist known for his work on human-robot interactions. He introduced the "Uncanny Valley" concept, which describes how people tend to feel unease or discomfort when they encounter robots or animations that look almost, but not perfectly, human. This feeling increases as robots become more humanlike but then suddenly drops when they resemble humans very closely, unless they are nearly perfect. Mori’s idea helps designers create robots and computer graphics that feel more natural and less unsettling by understanding this human perception gap.
