Martingale (gambling strategy)
The Martingale strategy is a betting system where you double your bet after every loss, aiming to recover previous losses with a single win. For example, if you lose a small wager, you double your next bet; if you win, you recover all past losses plus gain a profit equal to the original bet. The idea is that a win eventually occurs, covering all prior losses. However, this approach relies on having a large bankroll and no table limits, and it doesn't change the odds of winning. In reality, long streaks of losses can lead to significant financial risk.
