Martingale

A martingale is a strategy often used in betting and finance where a person doubles their stake after every loss. The idea is that when they eventually win, the payout will cover all previous losses plus a profit. For example, if you bet $1 and lose, you bet $2 next. If you win, you recover your losses and gain a small profit. While it sounds straightforward, this strategy can be risky, as it requires a significant bankroll and can lead to substantial losses if a long losing streak occurs.
