
Manuel Piar
Manuel Piar was a Venezuelan military leader and revolutionary figure in the early 19th century. Born in 1774 in what is now Venezuela, he played a significant role in fighting for independence from Spanish rule. Piar was known for his courage and strategic skills, especially in leading troops in challenging battles. However, he faced political conflicts and disagreements with the revolutionary government, which eventually led to his execution in 1817. Today, he is remembered as a national hero who contributed to Venezuela’s struggle for independence.
