Mandala effect

The Mandela Effect refers to a phenomenon where a large group of people shares a false memory of an event or detail, believing it to be true. Named after many people mistakenly recalling Nelson Mandela dying in prison in the 1980s, it highlights how collective memories can be inaccurate or altered over time. This effect often results from cognitive biases, social reinforcement, or the way our brains reconstruct memories. While intriguing, it underscores the fallibility of human memory rather than evidence of alternate realities.
