Malaysian Islamic Development Department

The Malaysian Islamic Development Department, known as JAKIM, is a government agency responsible for managing Islamic affairs in Malaysia. It oversees the implementation of Islamic law, promotes Islamic education, and ensures the halal certification of food and products.
