Mahavira's teachings

Mahavira, the 24th Tirthankara of Jainism, teaches that living a life of non-violence (ahimsa), truthfulness (satya), non-possessiveness (aparigraha), and self-discipline leads to spiritual liberation. His teachings emphasize respecting all living beings, practicing honesty, and controlling desires to reduce harm and mental disturbance. By cultivating compassion, humility, and ethical conduct, individuals can purify their souls, attain inner peace, and ultimately achieve liberation (moksha) from the cycle of birth and death. These principles guide followers to live harmoniously with others and the environment.
