MabThera

MabThera is a medication that contains a specially designed antibody called rituximab, which helps the immune system target and destroy specific abnormal cells, such as cancer cells in certain types of blood cancers. It is used to treat conditions like non-Hodgkin lymphoma, chronic lymphocytic leukemia, and some autoimmune diseases. MabThera works by attaching to a protein called CD20 on the surface of these cells, signaling the immune system to attack and eliminate them.
