Luminex

Luminex is a sophisticated testing technology used in laboratories to analyze many different biological molecules, like proteins or genetic material, from a single sample. It uses tiny beads (microspheres), each labeled with a unique color and coated to detect specific targets. When a sample is added, the beads capture the molecules of interest. A specialized machine then identifies the bead colors and measures how much target is attached, providing detailed results quickly. This method allows for high-throughput, precise testing, making it valuable for medical diagnostics, research, and disease detection.
