Lower Paleolithic Era

The Lower Paleolithic Era, spanning roughly 2.6 million to 300,000 years ago, marks the earliest period of human tool use and cultural development. During this time, early humans, such as Homo habilis and Homo erectus, created simple stone tools, like hand axes and choppers, primarily for hunting, gathering, and processing food. They lived in small groups, relied on natural resources, and began to control fire. This era laid the foundation for human evolution, social organization, and technological innovation, influencing the way our ancestors interacted with their environment.
