London Regional Transport
London Regional Transport (LRT) was established in 1984 as a public body responsible for operating the capital's public transport services, mainly focusing on buses and the Underground (Tube). It was created to improve and coordinate transport in London. LRT operated until 2000, when it was replaced by Transport for London (TfL), which now oversees all transport in the city. TfL manages a comprehensive network, including buses, trains, the Tube, and other services, aiming to provide efficient, safe, and accessible transport for residents and visitors alike.
