Loki's Children
Loki’s children are figures from Norse mythology born to the trickster god Loki and various beings. Notably, they include the giant wolf Fenrir, the serpent Jörmungandr who encircles the world, and Hel, who rules over a realm for the dead. Each of these offspring is associated with chaos, destruction, or the underworld. Their existence underscores Loki’s role as a destabilizing force in the mythic cosmos, threatening order and participating in the prophesied events of Ragnarok, where many gods and creatures, including his children, play a part in the world’s end.
