Logical Volume Management

Logical Volume Management (LVM) is a system that allows flexible management of storage space on a computer. Instead of fixed-size partitions, LVM creates a pool of storage, called a volume group, from which smaller, customizable segments called logical volumes are allocated. This setup enables easy resizing, addition, or removal of storage without disrupting the entire system.
