Live CD

A Live CD is a bootable optical disc (like a CD or DVD) containing an operating system that can run directly from the disc without installing it on a computer's hard drive. This allows users to try out or troubleshoot an OS without making permanent changes to their system. Once the computer is restarted, it can boot from the Live CD, providing a fully functional environment for testing, repair, or privacy-focused activities. When finished, the user can remove the disc and boot normally from their usual hard drive.
