Liu Bei was a significant figure during China's Three Kingdoms period (220-280 AD). He was a warlord and the founder of the Shu Han state, one of the three rival kingdoms. Known for his charisma and leadership, Liu Bei sought to restore the Han dynasty after its fall. His life is marked by alliances and battles, as he navigated a complex political landscape. Liu Bei is often celebrated for his sense of justice and loyalty, which earned him a loyal following, notably including his sworn brothers, Guan Yu and Zhang Fei. He is a central character in the historical text "Romance of the Three Kingdoms."
