Linear perspective theory
Linear perspective is a technique artists use to create the illusion of depth and three-dimensionality on a flat surface. It is based on the idea that parallel lines, such as railroad tracks or roads, appear to converge as they recede into the distance, eventually meeting at a single point called the vanishing point. This method helps accurately depict spatial relationships, making scenes look realistic by guiding how objects diminish in size and align with these converging lines, thereby mimicking how we perceive depth in the real world.
