Light Metering Techniques
Light metering techniques are methods photographers use to measure the amount of light in a scene to achieve proper exposure. The most common techniques include *evaluative/matrix metering*, which analyzes the entire scene to determine the best exposure; *center-weighted metering*, focusing on the central area while considering the surroundings; and *spot metering*, which measures light from a small, specific part of the scene for precise control. These methods help ensure images are neither too dark nor too bright, allowing photographers to adapt to different lighting conditions for well-balanced photos.
