Light Fidelity (Li-Fi)
Light Fidelity, or Li-Fi, is a wireless communication technology that uses light to transmit data. Unlike traditional Wi-Fi, which relies on radio waves, Li-Fi utilizes visible light from LED bulbs to send and receive information. This means that while you’re in a room with Li-Fi, your devices can connect to the internet through light pulses, making the connection faster and potentially more secure. Li-Fi is especially useful in environments where radio signals are weak or need to be controlled, such as airplanes and hospitals, offering a complementary option to existing wireless technologies.
