IEEE 802.15

IEEE 802.15 is a set of standards for wireless personal area networks (WPANs), which are short-range wireless connections typically used for communication between devices close to each other, like smartphones, wearables, or home automation gadgets. It ensures these devices can reliably connect and share data without interference. A common example is Bluetooth technology, which is based on IEEE 802.15 standards. These standards define how devices communicate efficiently, securely, and with minimal power consumption within a personal space, generally up to 10 meters.
