Li

Li, or Lithium, is a soft, silvery metal that is highly reactive and lightweight. It’s commonly used in rechargeable batteries for electronics such as smartphones, laptops, and electric vehicles because it can store and release energy efficiently. Lithium’s ability to hold a lot of energy relative to its size makes it ideal for powering portable devices. Additionally, lithium compounds are used in mental health treatments for bipolar disorder and in certain industrial applications. Despite its usefulness, lithium must be handled carefully due to its reactivity, especially with water and air.
