Lanthanides
Lanthanides are a group of 15 elements located in the periodic table’s f-block, from lanthanum to europium. They are known for their unique magnetic, optical, and electronic properties, making them valuable in technology such as magnets, lasers, and lighting. These elements are chemically similar and often occur together in minerals, making them challenging to separate. While they are relatively rare in Earth's crust, they are essential components in many high-tech devices. Their name derives from lanthanum, the first element in the series.
